Find out here what critics and fans have to say about “Total Dhamaal” movie directed by Indra Kumar, Starring Ajay Devgan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Riteish Deshmukh. This is the 3rd Dhamaal Franchise installment which first came in 2007. The main attraction of the film is the comeback of 90s iconic couple Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. This movie is being acclaimed as comedy combined with an adventure that assures laughter to the audience. And one more reason this film got publicity is the makers of the film decided that they will not be releasing the movie in Pakistan after the Pulwama attack.

Story: In the Dhamaal franchise, Total Dhamaal is the 3rd installment. A 50cr loot that was hidden somewhere comes in the knowledge of a bunch of acquisitive people. And there starts a mad chase to get that loot, and the characters who fight among themselves are a couple who is on the verge of getting a divorce, eccentric siblings, the police commissioner, local goons and the leading intellect of the hidden booty. So the suspense is who finally receives the hidden treasure?

Review: Apart from falling off bridges, crashing helicopters, cars ramming into trains, the director Indra Kumar wanted the audience to think very little while watching a loud comedy, but the cast somehow turned comic adventure to a misadventure little early.

Now, if we start with the promo of the film, the rickety bridge of the promo is plotted weaker than the actual movie. In the beginning, the movie seems to be paisa vasool when it starts with an opening song introducing the cast. Everyone in the film is in pair, and the most laughter is created by iconic couple Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor. The couple sill shares the magical aura and best crackling comedy onscreen, as here Madhuri is Marathi, and Anil proves himself hilarious with his Guju accent. Ajay Devgan would have performed well if his humor was not limited to his character which was poorly written although Sanjay Mishra who called himself Radhe(Ajay) as his bro tired hard to create fun in lots of situation. While Arshad Warsi and Javed created good laughter in the previous series, but in this movie chemistry of two didn’t do justice to the characters, Riteish Deshmukh’s character with Johny Lever was hilarious. Other cast didn’t play any role in creating the atmosphere of comedy. From the punches to the screenplay of the film everything was predictable. The movie, Total Dhamaal al in one oscillates in various scenes with poor quality used computer graphics. While before interval film is cheerful and casual but after intermission, it becomes exhausting to watch this movie as it so many characters over a weaker plot. Through this movie, however, the director Indra Kumar missed out an opportunity to create a drama and adventure with comedy, unlike other series. The slapstick of the film is not an, but the writing and execution have shattered the overall ratings of the film.

The critic gave 2.5 rating to the movie out of 5 just because the film was also the repetition of earlier series with some new characters.
