Akshay Kumar is that one promising bollywood actor you can be sure about; no-way letting your ticket money flush down the drain. ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ has raised our ears ever since the bizarre movie title was thought of. Story-line of ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’
Keshav is a small cycle trader and his family is keen to marry him. ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ opens with an utterly humorous Akshay Kumar being made to marry a buffalo named Mallika to neutralise his ‘maanglik’ stars. He accidently meets Jaya and falls in love with her; Jaya is a city topper. After some lovy-dovy pestering, Jaya agrees to marry him. A day later she discovers her new home lacks a toilet. The entire village is blinded by tradition of ‘jis aangan mein tulsi hai, usi mein shauchalaya kaise ban sakta hai’. She takes a stand and warns Keshav of a divorce is toilet is not constructed in the house.

‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is basically a satirical comedy that revolves around Jaya’s stand for a hygienic toilet and Keshav’s mission to win back his love by fighting against the rusty Indian traditions and getting a toilet!

Our Review
‘Toilet ek prem katha’ is a brilliant take on the stigma driven Indian households that resist constructing the basic amenity. Akshay Kumar’s performance is terrific. Bhumi Pednekar is a no less contributer to the success story. She is impeccable with every aspect.
Jaya is a liberal thinker who ignites the fight against this menace. The ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ couldn’t have been portrayed in a better medium than by an Akshay Kumar movie. Akshay has vowed not to charge a penny for the movie, only a little share in the profits. Everything astray, the movie is a must watch.

We give it a 4.5/5 star rating!

Akshay Kumar again proves his mettle in the industry with ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. He attracts the most attention and praise, successfully lifting up the movie. The First Day collection will probably stand at Rupees 13- 14 Crore with an expected lifetime collection of Rupees 140 Crore.

This might sound uneasy, but you’ve got to go for ‘Toilet’!
