FITNESS IS LIKE MARRIAGE. YOU CAN’T CHEAT ON IT AND EXPECT IT TO WORK.

The above statement is so true. If you want to be fit and healthy you need to stay committed to the fitness formulas that you would like to follow. Working out a day and going for cheat meals for the rest of the days won’t help you.
If you want to seriously see a change in yourself, commit to yourself.

Here, I provide you with a few tips to stay fit and healthy:

1. Drink Plenty of Water: When I say plenty, I don’t mean that you drink water the whole day. It is just essential that you drink at least 3 litres of water each day.

Start your day with a glass of lukewarm water as it helps to ease the digestive system and also initiates bowel movements.

2. Eat Just Enough to Survive, Not to Starve: When you are hungry, just eat that proportion of food that helps you fill your stomach. Don’t overeat anything and don’t starve yourself too. Overeating doesn’t help your digestive system to function properly and starving yourself will make you too weak.

3. Have a Balanced Diet: A balanced diet is a diet that contains all the nutrients essential for our body to maintain a good health. So when following a diet, remember to have, enough of carbohydrates, healthy fats and oils, vegetables and fruits, nuts, beans, seeds, fish, poultry and eggs.

4. Don’t Skip Breakfast: Skipping breakfast is the biggest mistake people do now-a-days. In a hurry to reach school, college or office on time, people tend to miss the most essential meal of the day. If you skip breakfast, the hunger piles up and at the end you end up eatig more than you should have eaten.

5. Exercise Daily: A healthy mind stays in a healthy body. So exercise is a must. You should workout for atleast 30 minutes daily. If you like running, swimming, cycling or jogging you can do that too. If you are planning to go for body building, opting a gym would help you the best.

6. Keep an Eye on Your Sugar Intake: Sugar seems sweet but it isn’t so sweet for your body. Too much intake of sugary substance like chocolates or sweets might kill your hunger for a particular moment but the side effects would last longer. Sugar does much harm then benefit. So if you have a sweet tooth, its time that you should give a thought to it and change.

7. Sleep: Yes, you read it right. I said SLEEP. Now that is as much important to you like having a balanced diet. Your body restores energy when it is asleep and you shouldn’t under do or overdo it. You should sleep for about 6-8 hours a day so that you remain active, alert and feel fresh the very next morning you wake up.

So here were some tips for your healthy life. I hope you follow it and remain fit and fine.
