Story-Line of Mubarakan
Mubarakan is a story of twin brothers, Karan and Charan (double role by Arjun Kapoor) separated at birth. Their uncle Kartar Singh (Anil Kapoor) takes the responsibility of his now orphan nephews. Kartar’s brother back in Pujab (Pavan) raises Charan and Kartar’s sister in London (Ratna) raise Karan. Both brothers already are into a relationship when they’re asked to see a girl for marriage. They turn to Kartar Singh for help. Kartar’s attempts are hilarious; he is caught into his own confusions which further complicates the matter.

All the confusion unfolds in such hilarious ways that will put the audience into splits. Hold firm on your seats!

Our Review
Two obvious components of a rom-com are romance and comedy, and Mubarakan is in aplenty of them. The Arjun Kapoor starrer is an amusing movie, but there’s nothing different served on our platter. Anil Kapoor as a Punjabi steals the show there. He provides the much needed edge to the movie. Previously, bollywood has served us double role jovial chaos with ‘Ram Aur Shyam’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Angoor’, ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’, ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Judwaa’ and many more. But Anees Bazmee’s favoritism to comedy genre gives us a full on family entertainer Mubarakan. Talking about the girls, Ileana, Athiya and Neha have little roles to play. Ileana pulls out her part terrifically. Athiya has brushed up her skills and Neha plays a charming Muslim determined girl.

We give it a 3/5 star rating!

Conclusion
Anil Kapoor yet again proves his mettle in the industry with ‘Mubarakan’. He attracts the most attention and praise, successfully lifting up the movie. However, the makers could’ve provided a better ending to the movie. You can conveniently spend some quality time with your family with Mubarakan your way!

Mubarakan is clashing with Madhur bhandarkar’s ‘Indu Sarkar’ and ‘Tigmanshu Dhulia’s’ Raag Desh. The First Day collection will probably stand at Rupees 12.5 Crore with an expected lifetime collection of Rupees 115+ Crore.
