Our Review
Babumoshai Bandookbaaz has an ordinary script with little variations. Nawaz saves the movie with his comedy skills. The film showcases the misery of the dark “underworld”, as it is referred to. Both the contract killers are worth a laugh in their stylishly raw gangster looks.

Love mixed with lust forms the major part of the movie. Bidita’s intimate scenes with Nawazuddin catch maximum attention. The ease and sensuousness with which the scenes have been performed are commendable. Shraddha Das (Banke’s love interest) has a similar role to play. The film emphasizes the need to evolve from the objectification of women as things to satisfy sexual desire.

The script has been well justified by the actors. However, the screenplay could have definitely been better. All in all, the movie is an average, watchable one.

We give it a 2.5/5 star rating!

Conclusion
Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays Babu Bihari is, as always, in an excellent form. Divya Datta as the power-hungry politician jiji adds salt to an otherwise tasteless starter. Bidita Bag delivered a decent performance. All other characters too fall in line comfortably in their turns.

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is clashing with ‘A gentleman’ and ‘Qaidi Band’ on August 25.

Have a good watch with Babumoshai Bandookbaaz!
